MUST HAVE! these 3 Kickass Summer Drinks

Summers are wonderful for those of us who love to sweat it out with a solid workout. It definitely feels like we’ve worked hard, and long. All this sweat can make us seriously dehydrated though and while nothing beats WATER, let’s give you a list of 3 solid summer drinks that will keep us healthy and hydrated.

These 3 Kickass summer drinks are super yummy , nutritious , hydrating, low on calories and sugar content. These are all based on recommendations from celebrity trainer and fitness enthusiast, Jitender Behra.

SMOOTHIES

Forget fruit juices, which are high in sugar content. Make a smoothie instead.

- Take your favourite fruit (or fruits)

- Throw it in the blender with some ice

- Add a splash of low-fat yogurt

- Blend

Smoothies are a meal in themselves. Add some chia seeds or nuts for added flavour and benefits.

VEGETABLE JUICES

Better than fruit juices because veggies are super healthy and possess almost no sugar content.

BUTTERMILK/CHAAS/LASSI

An old school classic, buttermilk or chaas is a staple in most households during the summer months, and for good reason!

- Throw in some roasted cumin seeds

- Add ice

- Blend till smooth.
